Many religious people embrace the idea of loving others as themselves
but remain blissfully unaware of how the Bible defines love. As a result,
they do not understand the necessity of putting into practice the biblical
principles that determine the success or failure of their relationships.

I've got a big problem today! You may have one, too. I'll
tell you what my problem is not—it is not fear of some co-worker
catching me with an April fool's joke! My problem is much bigger
than that! But it does have something to do with April fools day.
Today, my computer and yours are facing great danger—because of some April
fool. Oh, your screen isn't likely to explode, but you could find yourself
the victim of a virulent worm—a computer virus that could cause major
disruption of your life. The conficker c. virus is not just a prank by some
wayward hacker trying to prove he's good at his craft. Security companies
believe it is designed to invade your personal life. The intent appears to be
to gain access to your personal information and run a scam to take your money.
We may avoid contact with this virus. But there will always be another,
perhaps more dangerous one, coming through the Web. Somebody is always
trying to take what belongs to us.
At some level the person who wrote the conficker virus program knows
that he is breaking man-made laws. But if you asked the author of this
malicious virus whether he believes in God he would likely laugh in
your face. He has probably long since rejected the very idea of a creator
God who set in motion laws to govern human conduct.
Listen to this searing comment from the Bible about those who believe
God is dead.
"The fool has said in his heart, 'There
is no God'" (Psalm 14:1) Ah, the fool!
We can pretty much bet that the author of the conficker c. virus believes
there is no God.
He's convinced that if he can evade man's laws, he is home
safe. He expects to make a killing at our expense and he probably thinks
triggering this virus on April-first is funny. But the joke's
on him.
I may have a problem with my computer, but he has a bigger problem.
God has his number and sooner or later he will have to repent or pay
for his crime with his life.
