That book is your Bible. We've prepared this guide, Making Life Work, to help you discover the Bible's principles for success.

Man's Endless Quest for Happiness
How can you find real happiness? Many people look for it by acquiring more and more or doing more and more. But that's not where the key to real happiness lies.

Joy: Foundation for a Positive Life
Jesus said to His disciples, "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full" (John 15:11). That sounds almost too good to be true! How can we experience this fullness of joy?

A God Concerned With Man's Heart
Throughout the Bible we see that God has always been concerned with human  motivations.

Finding Happiness
Could you use greater happiness in your life? Although happiness can be a slippery thing, it can be achieved. Find out how!

What's the Answer to a Better Life?
Do you feel like the problems of your life have reached a dead end and there are no solutions? No matter how hopeless your life may appear, you can have hope for something better. But you can't solve today's problems with the same old solutions; you'll simply arrive at the same old problems.

Ever feel like everybody else has a better life and nothing ever goes your way?

There is an old story about an immigrant who arrived at Ellis Island with nothing more than the shirt on his back.  He worked hard and eventually owned a small business, a nice house and lived in relative comfort.  He even managed to help his son graduate from college.

When the son returned from college, he looked at his father's books and decided that the old man was unsophisticated and needed business education. The son complained, "How do you even know what is your profit?"

The father replied, "I first take out the cost of the shirt I had on my back when I arrived in this country.  Everything else is profit."

One of the secrets to happiness is first be willing to see the good in life and then be thankful for what you have, instead of being unhappy with what you don't have.
