Do you suffer from the N.E.T. ailment?  What is N.E.T.?  Not Enough Time.

Doesn't it seem that your world demands more of you than time allows? Do you have more responsibilities than you have time?

You've probably seen some of the ailment's effects:

  • Do you find yourself doing too many things and not doing them very well—that's a warning sign.
  • Do you feel that you just don't have the time to rest or relax? That's another indicator.
  • Or maybe you're losing it with family, friends, or co-workers.

You see, the NET ailment contaminates when you take on too much or have the wrong priorities. The result?

Overload and stress.

What can you do? So what's the cure?

Start by getting control of your time. In fact, your Bible tells how to be immunized: "be very careful how you live. Do not live like those who are not wise, but live wisely...So do not be foolish but learn what the Lord wants you to do." (Ephesians 5:15,17 NLT)

Do you know what God wants for your life?  Have you made it your priority? You see, God doesn't want you to be so busy that you lose spiritual perspective.

It is possible to regain control of your time, and follow through on your responsibilities. Prevent a reoccurrence of the N.E.T. ailment by making it your goal to learn what God would have you do and then live it wisely.
