Video TranscriptHow do you deal with the challenges that life brings? It seems that everyday may bring more difficulty. There's no doubt that the world is changing at an amazing rate and sometimes it looks pretty bleak. How do you handle it? I heard this anonymous story to help with the times that we live in. In fact, these are more than just interesting times—your Bible describes them as very difficult, in fact, perilous times (2 Timothy 3:1). Yet it's not a time for you to be distressed or discouraged. It's time to PUSH! When everything seems to go wrong for you - PUSH! What is PUSH? It's an acronym. Pray Until Something Happens. The Bible tells us "Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything." (Philippians 4:6 CEV) So, when's the last time you prayed? Do you know how? God wants a personal relationship with you—He has a purpose for life. You can understand God's plan and grow spiritually by really getting to know your Creator. So how should you deal with the challenges that life brings? PUSH Get into the habit of praying to God on a regular basis. Go to your Bible and learn how to pray until something happens. There's tremendous power in prayer. For GN magazine, I'm Steve Myers. |
